I am a civil rights activist having been in the civil rights movement for 65 years and I am also an ordained minister and born again Christian. My mother was a Christian Jew and my father a Mormon Navajo who did not like Mormons. I protested against the whites in the Deep South in the early fifties on their treatment of Blacks, and with the Hispanic about the same time. I believe God created us all equal with equal rights regardless or race, gender or sexual orientation. My heroes these days are President Obama, Martin Luther King, Bill Johnson of the Desert Journal (for not being afraid to print the truth) and the late Governor McCall of Oregon.
